How to delete recording or snapshot files?

Manually delete files

Call View RECs in File Explorer from the red dot record button, it will open the directory with all the recordings and snapshots. Delete the animated thumbnails in .gif format, the corresponding full videos in .mp4 format and the .jpg snapshots which you do not want anymore.

Note: each time that files are deleted the web interface is updated as soon as the browser's reload button is pressed.

Delete files from the web interface

• Make sure that Allow deleting files in Camera Basic Settings is checked.
• Reload the web interface and from there delete the files.
• Note that .jpg snapshots cannot be deleted from the web interface; but if not needed they can be disabled in Camera Advanced Settings by unchecking Start picture.
• Please protect the web access with User Name and Password under Global Settings.
